A long history of innovation
Our history begins in the early 1900s, during the time of producing yarns and ropes from natural fibers. The city of Frattamaggiore, the birthplace of the Capasso family, was then a major hemp production area and an important hub for local industrial development.
Our company has inherited a long entrepreneurial tradition and has developed a growth path with some important cornerstones: quality, continuous innovation, customer service, and a relationship of trust with employees. Always committed to working with natural fibers, we saw the discovery of polypropylene and its possible evolutions as a great investment opportunity.
In 1973, we began producing polypropylene yarns for agriculture and marine ropes, while in 1999, to meet market demands, we started the production of cast polypropylene film for food packaging.
Our company is currently led by the fourth generation of the Capasso family and has been able to achieve numerous milestones over the years thanks to the passion, commitment, and dedication of the entire team. We are very proud of our history and continue to focus on the same values: quality, continuous innovation, customer service, and a relationship of trust with employees.
